ABOUT THE SHOW:
Dr. Caligari's Traveling Minstrel Show" represents a totally, new, fresh and exciting concept in nightclub and theater entertainment. We are a LIVE weekly musical variety show featuring musicians, vocalists, comics, actors, dancers and other performers. Presented in a "Rock Opera" style format, the shows principle performers will also be part of a Gothic Horror overall story line complete with period accurate costumes that will feature both LIVE and VIDEOTAPED vignettes to support the ongoing storyline of the show. Moreover, the show encourages audience participation by attending each show in the costumes of their choice from any era.

Each week, performers are invited to participate in a theme (determined in advance of each weekly show to allow for preparation). Some weeks it may be a tribute to one or more performing artists such as David Bowie, Eric Clapton or to a particular genre in music or film such as Blues, Swing, music of the 1960's, Horror, SciFi, super heroes, etc. Basically, anything that is popular and FUN for
all (both performers and our audience) to participate in.
Dr. Caligari's Traveling Minstrel Show"incorporates a large screen multimedia show with cutting edge graphics, visualizations and live multi-camera video to not only display the LIVE musical variety show "bigger than life", but to help convey both the storyline of the show itself and the show's weekly theme as well.
Weekly guests and performers can be from any "walk" of the entertainment arena. It's a variety show! Though we encourage participation in our weekly themes and tributes, guests and performers can also perform non-theme musical selections, comedy skits, acting and dance routines.
