Selected Sundays at 6:30pm
Arts Resource Centre
45 Queen St
Oshawa, ON

Spoken Weird is an elaborate scam created by Sid MacIsaac to exploit the amazing talent of writers, artists, comedians, and performers of all kind for the benefit of their subscriber count on YouTube.

Launched in 2016, Spoken Weird is a poetry slam forged from the values of innovation, creation, claymation, masturbation, and PlayStation. We aim to promote diversity, community, and alternative ideas, and to create a safe space that all individuals can enjoy.

Spoken Weird takes place the second Sunday of every month, in the auditorium of the Arts Resource Centre.

Spoken Weird is committed to maintaining a safe space for all people. People of all gender identities/alignments, sexual/romantic orientations, skin colours, cultures, backgrounds, degrees of ableness, religions, political parties, and other such categorizing factors are welcome; however, hate speech, abuse, violence, trans*/queerphobia, and general asshole-ery will not be tolerated, and may result in banishment.
