C (11/2010): This is like taking in a breath of fresh air after you have been locked in pollution for two decades. The performers are amazingly passionate about their art, and they will have you hanging on every word. If you are an unsigned artist this is an event that you should participate in. The vibe is friendly, and the audience loves great material. Whether you perform hip hop, R&B, soul, Reggae, or even Portuguese music, you must partake in this event. It is hosted by "Supermodel" Melissa Capo, and gentlemen she is most definitely all that, and then some.
Ozz (9/2010): BIGGER n BETTER Nights OPEN MIC every 1st & 3rd Friday at the Writeside Poets Café - all participants and attendees support keeping out youth poetry program running. Poets, Singers, Musicians, Comedians, B-Boys/B-Girls, Freestyle MC's, Live-Art Painters… all welcome.
