Looked for this place last night and could not find this address. We found 704 Maryville Pike and other numbers of homes and buildings in the 600s on Maryville Pike. There are at least 5 signs from Chapman Hwy. that state Candoro Marble Museum and arrows point in the direction to go. Then… nothing???? I don't get it.

Every First Friday of the month, Mountain Laurel Open Mic invites local singers, songwriters, poets, comedians and performers. We invite performers of all genres of music to perform. Most audience members tend to be adults, some regulars bring their chlldren, and we encourage young people to get involved and perform. We began the open mic in 2001 at the Candy Factory at the Worlds Fair Park in Knoxville. After renovations began at the Candy Factory in 2006, we moved to the Candoro Marble Building, home of the South Knox Cultural Heritage Association and Marble Museum. During the open mic the museum exhibits are open to the public. Donations to Mountain Laurel Open Mic and to the museum are welcome. We are a not for profit open mic and any donations received are put towards equipment maintenence. Refreshments are on a pot luck basis. BYOB
