- Went to this open mic a while ago. Upon arrival, I asked twice about getting a spot to perform but hosts were busy setting up equipment and ringing up sales. Waited for over an hour to get a slot and soon enough, the open mic began and slots were taken. I understand if places are understaffed, but sign up sheets need to be made available when you walk in the door. June, 2008
