- This mic is great. They treat musicians like royalty because there are so few. They even bumped me up in the lineup because it was mostly comedians and I got to play 3 songs instead of 2. Nice atmosphere. Eveyone pays attention and the food is damn good.

- my friend and i had the awesome privilege of performing at the milux café open mic Friday. the café was really nice, the hosts and performers were very welcoming, and the food is terrific and very reasonably priced. the equipment was great, but not much of an audience. overall, it was a very good experience

Open Mic Nite Fridays at the Milux Cafe
The Friday Open Mic at Milux Cafe is open to amateurs, professionals, or those in between wishing to get a little amplification time. Bring your music, poetry, stand-up or whatever your fancy.
We try to run a night which is informal, supportive and fun for all. We are still building our sound capacity so please no extra amps, no drum kits and preferably bring an instrument that already has a built in pickup. As things progress, things will expand. So stay with us. The open mic is from around 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Sign up starts at 5:50pm.
