The Atmosphere is electric! I have never been to an Open mic where There is such a mixture of music and such Amazing Talent? I was a little nervous to get up on stage after seeing all of the Talent, I finally made it on the stage, The Host was Hot! She was From London and really kept the crowd entertained, I Heard M.tv want to turn this Open mic into a T.v show or something, They should There was one guy on stage who had worked with lil kim, micheal Jackson, Brandy… as a producer but he was singing and brought 2 backing singers with him, This is a well organised event and is packed with real Industry People from Labels, and great Artists, I thought it was free but I guess since M.tv had got involved and have started filming there they now charge $10 but its worth it, I will Most Def Pass by the Karma lounge again,

I went to this Open Mic and had a Blast! I Met The Executive of Motown universal Records and he Gave me his card : ) This is a great Networking Open Mic Event! but you have to get there on time @ 8.30pm for the sign up or else you will be waiting a while, Like the Anonymous girl who left the comment about waiting a long time probally arrived about 9pm or after, This is the Hottest Open mic in the City! I heard Kanye west and John Legend had both stopped by this spot on a Tuesday, When i was there I sang my own song with my cd Backing track, I got there about 8.15 because i knew there would be a long line, I will definitly be back this Tuesday! Keep up the Good work Karma lounge!

My sister and i are a duo we went there at 9pm and there was a very long list of people anyway we didn't get to perform.The next week we went back the host girl only let people that she know perform. She herself performed 2 times while people that were waiting for hours still did not perform. People who performed the first time we went came back and sang the same song that they sung the last week.I will never go back to the karma lounge.

This is not to be confused with Penny's open mike which is a wonderful open mike that I heard was forced out of the space.
