? How many songs can you do? Do the songs have to be original?

Three songs or fifteen minutes, whichever comes first. No, the songs do not have to be original. I've been performing here regularly since July 2008 and it's one of the best venues for acoustic music I've ever experienced in over 25 years of performing.

Open Mike at Harmony in Green Bay is awesome. It is a really nice place, the atmosphere is warm, the people are nice, the music is good, the food is really good. Linda, the hostess, is so sweet and nice; she does a great job. What more would you want? Check it out… - Pamela Knight-Gantz

I've heard some amazing writers here. Very good crowd of both artists and art lovers. I've even sold a few CDs in this venue which is rare at an open mic. Great place to play. Talk to Linda to sign up. Jay

? We are a band. With drums, Keyboards, bass and guitar. If we play its a lot of equipment to move. Can we play more then a couple of songs? We have at least 5, 50 minute sets of music. We would like to be able to play for an hour. Is that possible?

The open mic isn't a good forum for bands with lots of equipment to set up who (not surprisingly after so much work) want to perform more than three songs. A better venue would be to ask the café's program coordinator about performing a full show on Thursday night… which could be up to three hours long.

Harmony Cafe welcomes and encourages all manners of performance that people may wish to use to express themselves. However, every performance must follow our "Check It At the Door" declaration, which basically means that all performances must be family friendly and no person can be made to feel uncomfortable because of his or her socioeconomic standing, beliefs, ethnicity, sexuality or because of any other characteristic with which a a person my choose to identify him/herself. Harmony Cafe is also a smoke-free, substance-free environment -- any person under the influence will be asked to leave and return at a latter date.
