I called the club to verify the event. The response was NOT encouraging. Whoever answered the phone indicated that it is NOT a true Open Mike for musicians rather that it has evolved to an open COMEDY session which doesn't really get started until after midnight. He said if you're coming to play, you will be disappointed.
