Mary, what kind of music do you have? Full bands? Or is this more of just an acoustic type show? I've got a blues trio but we don't want to come blow everyone out of the place if you're just doing acoustic shows. Thanks.
Brian (10/2008): Well… I'll be there. You can hardly get anything with $8 so I think that's a good price. I'm glad there's something to do like this in my area.
Brooke (1/2008): Don't pay to play. You denigrate fellow musicians if you allow them to charge you, then expect you to perform.
Jack Swain (1/2008) Thank you for your comment Jack. The admission fee for this event is minimal and it does include refreshments. The small fee also helps to secure the venue for artists to perform. Mary (1/2008) Jack you don't have to pay to play… sit at home and play with yourself! Its free and you can have as much fun as you want by yourself. This event is for individuals who want to have some fun and showcase their talent. If you have a problem with it then stay at home. I like the idea and definitely be there!
