Look guys, I do my very best to accommodate all art forms. Yes we still have comedians, here's how it works. I send out the blast to my master list of artist about a week before ea open mic. I get full for comedy slots in about 20 minutes, so if you ask me for a slot the day of the show I simply can't help you. In regards to Rose, well Sam whom you miss so much hijacked that night you got angry about and put about 50 minutes of his friends on stage in amongst all my pre scheduled acts and yes we ran very late the club thinned out and you waited around a long time and then you left. I felt so horrible i emailed you at midnight that very night when i got home and promised you the 1st comedy slot at the next open mic. you accepted it and then didn't even show up? Well organised and that's saying something in this world of open mics - pre-booking means you don't have to jostle for position and means you don't have to turn up till 30 minutes before you're due on. On the downside, this means you could be playing to an empty room rather than one full of other musicians and comedians just waiting to go on - but at least you're not kidding yourself that everyone's really interested in what you're doing. You will be competing against people just chatting and having a good night out - but nothing wrong with that either. Parking in the area is good and wi-fi is available. Plus Sam seems like a really cool, enthusiastic host. Go support this open mic!
