- Hey Palatka Guy -- Sorry you couldn't take a joke. Even after everyone in the bar tried to tell you that the guy in the Red Shirt was messing with you, you still insisted on badgering the staff and anyone who would listen to you. I mean, come on, 'you have to pay the Host 20 bucks to get on stage?' and you didn't think that was a joke? Sorry you had to wait 90 minutes to play but there were other people who had signed up WAY before you showed up and we go by the schedule. I tried to tell you that MYSELF as you were badgering the customers at the bar as well -- and you got inflated ego out of that? I guess you wanted to be coddled? I spoke to you twice, while trying to manage 10 other musicians, and, as a closer, we encourage all musical instruments and not just obscure folks artists, as you put it. We have had everything from Rappers to Trance performers and you could have had the distinction of being the first Flugel Horn player -- but instead you chose to act like a child and proved it with your post.

- Open Mike? Really? I dont think so. Visiting musicians be forewarned!!! Ann's Pub is a neighborhood bar where local musicians play on Tuesday nights. However, if you are musician visiting from out of town, not only will you never be called to the stage, but also you will be made to feel very unwelcome. Even more so if, heaven forbid, you propose to play something other than obscure folk songs on a stringed instrument. I speak from experience. After driving 45 minutes from Palatka and then waiting patiently for another 90 minutes while numerous local musicians were called up, most of whom had arrived after me, I finally left, totally disgusted and quite disappointed. You say that the guy in the red shirt was just kidding? You'd be hard pressed to convince me. Smokin' Joe should put down whatever it is that he has been smoking, and he should lose the inflated ego too.

- Great performers, First Draft Free to performers, 2 Dollar PBR Tallboys, Deli Sandwiches. Smoking is permitted on the porch. Website not up currently for Smokin Joe, but its coming.
