Just went tonight. The sign-up is actually at 6:30 PM now (not 7 PM as shown or 7:45 PM as someone commented). When I was there, it was all older comics. The stage is small, the PA is fairly nice, but they don't supply guitarists with an extra mic or 1/4" cable, so you have to bring your own (bummer). Attendance was also pretty low, but this was my first time so I have no idea what it's like usually.

From this limited experience, I would say find another open mic if you're a musician, but try it out if you're a comic.

This is a great open mike and when I attended on the Friday it was predominantly comics however, that is nice because you are dealing with people who create look at the word CREATE their own material. I did a comedy tune and some original material but the thing was its great no Covers or Booz just plain old originalty . I strongly urge original writers and composers to check this one out and the host and audience were dynomite
